How to Play: Choosing Home Islands

Index -> Board Game -> Game Setup -> Choosing Home Islands

Starting with the first player and proceeding in player order, each player chooses a home island. Click on one of the green highlighted islands to make it your home island.

Your home island is where your ships begin the game, where you drop off gold you have collected, and where you repair your ships that have been damaged. Your captain marker is placed on your home island. Place your ships around that island by clicking on a location when your ship doesn't appear red.

After each player has placed his or her ships at the home island, the game begins with the first player ready to use actions.
