How to Play: Choosing Home Islands

Index -> Playing the Game -> Game Setup -> Choosing Home Islands

The second player now chooses which of the islands will be the home island of the first player. The first player places his or her ships around that island. Again, if the ship appears red, you can't place it there. Just move it around the island until you find a proper place. Then the first player chooses a different island as the home island for the second player, and that player places his or her ships there. The remaining islands are called wild islands.

Once home islands have been chosen and all ships have been placed, proceed to placing crew.
