If a ship begins one of your turns docked at a wild island, you may give her an explore action to look at all the treasure on that island (without revealing it to the other player) and choose as much treasure as you want to take (within the ship's cargo capacity limits).
Click the treasure you want on the right side of the treasure dialog box and click the top sword to transfer it to your ship. Any treasure not taken is left face down on the island.
A unique treasure is automatically taken by the first player to explore the island on which it is placed. It appears in the cargo area of the ship that first recovers it, but it does not take up any cargo space. Any ability a unique treasure has comes into play as a free action.
When a player explores an island, a streamer in that playerÂ’s color appears on the island to show he has explored it at least once. If a playerÂ’s ship docks at an island with his streamer, he may explore it as a free action.
You may also explore any allied ship or derelict that your ship touches, which allows you to transfer crew and treasure between ships.
