How to Play: Placing Islands

Index -> Playing the Game -> Game Setup -> Placing Islands

The game will determine randomly who the first player is. That player places the first island, and players alternate placing islands until each has placed three. The different styles of islands have no effect on game play.

Each island must be a certain distance from another island in the game. When you place an island, it will turn red if it's in an illegal location. Move the island around until it's not red and click to place it.

Once all islands have been placed, proceed to placing terrain.
