How to Play: Placing Terrain

Index -> Playing the Game -> Game Setup -> Placing Terrain

Using terrain in your game is optional. Players can only play with terrain in a game where the "Use Terrain" option was selected when the game was created. Once all the islands are placed, the players alternate choosing terrain and placing it on the playmat. There are several different kinds of terrain, each with its own accompanying rules. Move the terrain around until it's not red and click to place it.

Once all terrains have been placed (if any), proceed to choosing home islands.
