How to Play: Ships and Islands

Index -> Playing the Game -> Playmat -> Ships and Islands

Each ship and island has a name displayed above it in the playmat area. Ship names are shown in player colors to help identify fleets. A small gold circle with a number shows how much treasure is aboard that ship, or on that island. Ships also have a bandana that has a number showing how many crew they have aboard. Below the name of each ship is a bar that has colored segments showing how many masts that ship has remaining.

In the picture above, the Gargantuan has 2 treasure and 1 crew aboard, and all 5 of her masts are still intact. Island 5 has 2 treasure remaining.
