How to Play: Winning the Game

The game is over when any one of the following conditions is met:
- The official time has expired and the current player has finished his or her last turn.
- A player has unloaded more than half of the game's starting gold total on his or her home island.
- At the start of any turn during which any player no longer has the possibility of giving future move actions to any of his or her ships.
- All gold is on the players' home islands.
The player with the most gold on his or her home island at the end of the game is the winner.
- If the players are tied in gold, then the player who eliminated the most masts in combat is the winner.
- If the players are still tied, then the player with the most masts remaining is the winner.
- If the players are still tied, then choose a random method to determine the winner.
